Trunet's Guardian and Crusader PVE Builds

Before T3, the paladins can only choose to become meat shield or attacker as the SP is not enough to be used. Now, thanks to T3, paladins can become both defensive and aggressive!

The figures above show the hybrid build which is quite suitable for PVE purpose. Basically, the build is similar to magical paladin build but only smite is maxed.

Cleric part:

In this build, none of the kicking skills is added because the Divine Hammer can be spammed all the time (casting time: 60s, cooldown: 60s). Healing is maxed to provide maximum effect and Toughness is added to reduce the physical damage taken (which is crucial to meat shield).

Another point to mention is the Mental Training (mana recovery). Many paladins ignore this skill because of not enough sp in cleric part. However, I think it is an important passive skill to add because it will save a lot of your mana pots!

Paladin part:

The Provocation is not necessary to be maxed (left at lvl 2) and the crest of Provocation is optional. It is because the physical skills like shield charge and armor break can also increase the hatred value of mobs towards paladin if the attack of paladin is high enough. Shield Charge is only left at lvl 1 to chase the enemy or hiding away from the boss (like dark manticore and doggy).

The Conviction Aura is maxed as it can provide additional light elemental attack to the paladin (or other clerics in the party) and 30% light resistance (which is essential in apocalypse nest)! Stance of Faith is maxed as the Shield Block has been nerfed. Instead of only relying on the shield block before nerf, the combo of Shield Block + Will of Iron + Stance of Faith can be used to grant higher survivability to paladin.

Afterall, the paladins have a lot more of skills to use after T3. The 2 skill bars provided are just enough to put all the skills that will be used. Thus, remember to familiarize with the skill bars which is most suitable for ownself! =D

----------------------------------------------

For this build, the recommended equipments are those equipments with Strength prefix.

The recommended crests (either A or B) are Divine Avatar, Provocation (or Half Turn Kick), Smite and Armor Break.
